Tessa is a qualified Occupational therapist and is passionate about helping people reconnect with what matters most to themโ€”whatever that looks like in their own lives. She has previously worked as a HIP in another clinic and brings a wide range of experience in mental health and social services, as well as lived experience of disability and chronic pain. As the HIP, Tessa offers brief, practical sessions (around 30 minutes) focused on developing useful strategies and linking people with external services that support wellbeing.

The HIP service is FREE for all registered patients of Henderson Medical Centre, including children and young people. To make an appointment, you can call reception or speak with your doctor or nurse. Doctors and nurses may also refer you if they feel the service would be helpful.
